AIME 2012 Update

07-Feb-2012 | Business Events Tasmania will stand out in the crowd at this year’s Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo in Melbourne later this month.

A new display has been constructed to showcase brilliant images of Tasmania, including a 60 cm flat screen and a new DVD highlighting the best Tasmania has to offer the corporate and incentive markets. A new corporate and incentive brochure will be available on the stand to provide inspiration for event planners; and Business Events Tasmania will also showcase Tasmanian wine and cheese during the event.

The results of the EMRS Tasmanian Delegate Survey will also be shared with our potential clients. Highlights of the research are the strong client satisfaction; with 90% rating the friendliness of the locals and following closely are satisfaction levels with the food and wine experiences, business event organisation, restaurants and business event facilities.

Joining the Business Events Tasmania team on the stand will be White Sands Estate, Meadowbank Estate, MONA, Navigators, Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston and Hobart, Josef Chromy Wines, and Waji Catering. The Federal group will also be promoting Tasmania with their own stand; Scene Change will be on the floor as visitors; and Leishman & Associates and MCI are participating in the hosted buyers delegation.
Business Events Tasmania, as in other years, is confident of securing the interest of key buyers nationally and internationally resulting in strong leads for bidding opportunities and contributing a direct economic benefit to Tasmania and our members of over $10 million.
